Please let me know if you have any resources for below requirement. *Please reply me with some following details:-* *Resume word format:* *Complete Name:* *Availability:* *Rate:* *Present Location :* *Contact number :* *Relocation (Y/N): * *Email ID:*** *Visa Status:* * * *Job Title: DBA Consultant (With Netezza Experience)* *Location: Denver, CO* *Duration: 6 + Months* *Job Description:* * * *Detailed Description: * * * *The Operations DBA will be responsible for enterprise database operations on Data Warehouse Databases including:* · Build/setup databases for identified projects/business needs in a consistent and well structure manner per the defined organizational standards. · Manage day to day operations of the database including monitoring of high usage procs and queries, ensuring backups and log management are working effectively, session management, and configuration changes as required. · Manage migration of tables/schemas/DBs to alternate locations per defined project/business needs. · Gather statistics and create indexes on databases to ensure optimal performance and provide feedback to Application Admins, Developers and Architecture on appropriate change · Refresh development and test databases to facilitate better development and application delivery processes · Manage the database security needs through roles and profiles · Manage the creation of database partitioning and ongoing usage · Facilitate upgrade and patching process. · Support/execute the defined server and database maintenance process · Conform to the change process to ensure compliance and usage of best practices. · Support and ensure work done conforms with the SDLC process · Tier2/3 technical support for database and application issues. · Participate in the Technical support on-call rotation · Work closely with the Database Architecture to continually refine and improve on operational and design issues. · Provide upkeep for documentation for all environments under their review and make readily available these artifacts to all Architecture and Development counterparts * * *Netezza Specific Required Skills:* · The position requires 2+ years of Netezza DBA support experiences. Knowledge of Teradata is a plus. · Netezza internals, structures and system tables. · Data distribution as it pertains to the performance. · Administration of the appliance for optimal performance of the appliance. · User provisioning and associated data access. · Netezza Administration (primarily on backup, restore, nzload, genstats, sql tuning, etc) The Operations DBAs will work effectively with System Administrators, Project Managers, Architects, Developers and management to provide timely execution and support for business systems, planning, implementation and increased system uptimes. The Operations DBAs must assist in ensuring consistent management of the environment and execution of defined SDLC and ITIL processes.
