*Senior Network Engineer* *Duration : Ongoing 1099/ C2C* *Location : Roseland, NJ * Cisco Wireless technology: · Wireless Design including AP floor plans, Wireless Controller config/installations. · Knowledge with Cisco Wireless WCS or NCS mgmt. tool · Skilled with Cisco WCS design tool. *Description* Seasoned Network Engineer with minimum 8 years’ experience in LAN/WAN network design & Implementation Solid Network Design and implementation skills in IP Routing and Switching (layer 2 & 3), WAN protocols, and transport layer technologies such as Frame relay and MPLS. Experience in a large Enterprise network environment designing and implementing layer 2 & 3 network solutions for Routing & switching, Wireless, and Transport layer (Telco).Solid hand-on experience with network configuration including BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF routing protocols is required. Hands-on experience in configuring Cisco Routers, Switches, ASA & FWSM Firewalls, Wireless WLAN Controllers & AP''''s, ACE load-balancers network devices. Hands-on experience with Arista switches is a plus. Must understand multi-layered network designs (Core-Distribution-access) Knowledge of Data services such as DNS/DHCP (preferably Infoblox), and Cisco VPN/remote access solution. Also, required knowledge of Internet connectivity design including Security and Proxy infrastructure. Experience with Firewalls, Load-balancers (Cisco ACE and F5''''s), Proxy Servers, WAN Optimization technology. Knowledgeable with Network diagnostic tools (packet Analyzer, Network Sniffer, etc) is a plus. Must be proficient in the use of Visio Drawing tool and/or other Engineering drawing tool. Minimum Cisco CCNA or CCDA certification required. Must be able to multi-task and work under pressure.
