*Position*: MS Lync Engineer -

*Overview:*
Will be responsible for validating the existing Lync 2013 design and
provide feedback or necessary changes. Consultant will also need to help
the customer implement the Lync pool and all associated roles and
services. They will then have to assist with the initial rollout and pilot
of Lync, including enterprise voice and conferencing.
R*equirements:*
1. Must have 3+ yrs installing, configuring & maintaining 2010 MS LYNC
(2013 huge plus) is required including:
1. Experience architecting, designing & implementing Microsoft
Unified Communications (Lync/OCS/LCS) solutions with telephony
integration
2. Experience with telephony standards & protocols (e.g. T1/E1, ISDN,
QSIG, μ-law, A-law, etc)
3. Experience with VoIP technology such as CODECs (G.711, G.729,
RTAudio, etc), H.323, SIP, gatekeeper, IP-PBX, IP gateways, IP Phone,
Cisco, and Avaya platforms
4. Experience with configuring, troubleshooting, optimizing OCS/Lync
servers, topology, tools, and clients
5. Experience with implementing Federation of OCS and Lync
6. Experience with Microsoft Exchange 2010, Active Directory, DNS,
.NET Framework, PKI, Microsoft SQL Server, firewalls, HW and DNS Load
Balancing, Microsoft Clustering, and reverse proxy rule requirements,
2. Current and deep skills related to Lync and UM, including PSTN
integration
a. Assist in the Lync deployment and user enablement (Assist with the
deployment of the production Lync hardware, Validate production
infrastructure, client will be responsible for provisioning users onto the
new Lync environment)
b. Help create a design document which details the configuration of
the Lync Server 2010/2013 deployment
1. Experience with Exchange 2010/13 and Active Directory deployment and
support.
2. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the
organization.
3. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective
communicator
4. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this
project.
