*Job Title: Biztalk/Asp.net Developer*
*Location: Milwaukee, WI*
*Duration: Long term contract*

This position designs, develops, tests and maintains integration solutions
based on Microsoft BizTalk Server and ESB toolkit. This role is responsible
for design, development and maintenance of complex and dynamic web-based,
business applications using C#.NET and have a solid understanding of OO and
SOA design principles. Troubleshooting software problems regardless of
whether the issues are with code, data or both. Work well with teams and
have the ability to seek help or escalate issues to get them resolved.
Work with ASP.NET applications and SQL server databases performing
maintenance, troubleshooting and working on new features.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide system architecture services, software and platform development,
and troubleshoot issues to provide for proper and adequate system operations
Works with Business Analyst to translate business requirements and
functional design into development specifications.
Utilizes BizTalk to integrate and manage automated business processes by
exchanging business documents between disparate applications within or
across organizational boundaries
Work with trading partners on resolving issues and implementing business to
business EDI solutions.
Analyzes and monitors current BizTalk applications including heath of
critical components, monitoring jobs and

troubleshooting any issues.
Designs, develops and maintains web-based ASP.net applications.
Provides recommendations for improvements or solutions to accommodate
changing business requirements.
Provide on-call support for information system operating problems for
BizTalk and ASP.net applications consistent with the otating schedule
Work on service incidents related to integration, data flow, date auditing
and EDI.
Prepares and maintains all development documentation. Ensures standards for
change control, database designs and production deployments.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires education generally equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in business,
information technology or computer science.
Requires 3 to 5 years’ experience developing complex and dynamic business
web applications using C# in an n-tiered architecture.
Must have Microsoft Developer Certification in BizTalk Server and/or 3
years of extensive experience designing, developing and supporting
messaging solutions using Microsoft BizTalk Service 2010.
Must be proficient in the following: ASP.NET/C#, HTML, JavaScript, Visual
Studio, MS SQL Server/T-SQL, and IIS.
Must be experienced in writing and tuning SQL Server stored procedures.
Must have proven Systems Development Life Cycle experience including Agile
methodology.
Must be familiar with Service Oriented development practices.
Must be able to translate complex business requirements into technical
design, including object-oriented architecture and data modeling.
Must be able to create and work from written documentation including UML.
Must be able to gather and document business requirements.
Must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Must be self-motivated with strong verbal and written skills. Requires
strong teamwork and flexibility to accomplish goals satisfy customer needs
and meet project deadlines.
Must be willing to update job knowledge by participating in educational
opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in
professional organizations.
