*1.Accessibility Testing, Mountain view-CA*



Accessibility Testing is a sub-set of Usability testing that targets
accessibility of web-sites and apps for disabled users (Hearing/Vision
impaired/Physical Impaired) using assistive technology.



*Accessibility Technologies(Vision Impaired/LowVision/ Physical Impaired
users)*

●      Chromevox -  Screen reading technology used for Chrome OS on
desktops.

●      Androvox - Its a port of Chromevox for Android. Accessibility for
Android Web-views is handled

       by this technology.

●      TalkBack -  Assistive tech used for Web content in Android Devices
except in Browsers



*Responsibilities*

●      Gather requirements from development team and prepare/update Test
Plan

●      Execute Chromevox test cases on each build

●      Re-verifying chromevox bugs with JAWS/VoiceOver

●      Adhoc Testing for Chromevox/Androvox/Talkback on Different Google
Products and Third-party

              sites

●      Deep Dive testing across Google Products

●      Raise Bugs in Buganizer/Chromium

●      Bug tracking, Re-test to close/verify/re-open

●      Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) based testing for
majority of Google products.

●      Grading Google products for Accessibility perspective on the basis
of use cases for particular

               Google product.



*Key Qualifications:*

●      Experience in Manual Testing

●      Experience in writing Test Scenarios and Test cases

●      Familiarity with Bug Management

●      Excellent attention and observation skills

●      Knowledge on various Mobile Operating systems: Android & iOS(Apple
products)

●      Knowledge on various desktop operating systems: Windows, Mac
OS(Apple products) & Chrome

        OS.

●      Knowledge on Major Google products like Gmail, Wallet, Books,
Newsstand, Playstore, YouTube

               etc.

●      Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills

*S*hould be strong in testing strategy, test planning & execution, mobile
testing (android as first preference, iOS as second) and web testing.

- Strong testing skills (WebApps)

- Mobile / Andorid Exp.

- Unix

- Prog. Exp (20%) (Need any programming language exp or atleast good
exposure)



*3.Android Tester**: Mountain view-CA*

Troubleshoot, triage and manage the lab test infrastructure, responsible
for analyzing and triaging the software on various mobile devices, running
test automation scripts and maintaining it.

- Knowledge in Android tools and good trouble shooting skills

- Coding skills (Unix, Java)

- Mobile testing skills

- Scripting knowledge/Test Automation skills



*4. Developer-who are very strong with Coding, Algorithm.*

* Experience with testing frameworks, testing tools, automation tools

* Good technical skills, including understanding of algorithms, systems

* Familiarity with Google App Engine, Cloud SQL

*5. Developer (Location: Mountain view-CA) :**(Subcon/FT) (Target
Developers with strong core Java, DS and algorithms.)*

-- to build the framework for accessibility and add test cases.

-- Build automation framework for accessibility. Add test cases to the
automation suite.

-- Monitor automation test cases and fix it if there are any failures.

-- Automation experience with JAVA is must.

-- Web and Mobile based experience is must.

-- Work with SET/TE team to get automation information.

-- Candidate needs to have good communication skills.

-- Accessibility testing experience is a big plus





*6.Tester (2 positions): Need Tester with strong UNIX/Linux experience. Or

   - Strong experience in Web and mobile testing.
      - What kind of mobile devices tested.
      - Mobile Applications tested.
      - Tools used for mobile testing (ADB, DDMS)
      - How to capture screen shot (using DDMS)
      - How to take bug report from the device (ADB commands:
      logcat/bugreport commands).
   - Good experience in web automation using web driver.
      - Which framwork used for web automation.
      - List some important classes in webdriver framework. (WebDriver,
      WebElement, By)
      - Parameters to be passed to FindElemet method. (By.xpath, By.name,
      By.id)
      - How to find the xpath of an element (through firebug in Firefox and
      Developer console in Chrome)
   - Exposure to Linux commands.
      - How to create a folder. (mkdir)
      - Command to search some text in files recursive. (grep "some text" *
      -r)
      - Command to find file (find -n "file name")
      - How to print last 10 line of a file. (tail -n10 "filename" ) prints
      last 10 lines.
   - Good to have GIS/MAPS testing experience.
      - Has experience with testing maps.
      - What are the mobiles used for testing maps application.
   - Good communication skill.
