*9to9* Software Solutions is looking for a *System Administrator/Network Admin* for our client in* Houston, TX.* *Title: System Administrator/Network Admin* *Location: Houston , TX* *Duration: 9 months* *Visa: GC/Citizen/ GC EAD Skills Needed*: System Administration, Cisco Networking technologies, Exposure to WireShark, OpNet/Riverbed *Description:* Our client is looking is looking for someone that can analyze the network and applications and look for ways to make improvements for those suffering over a wide area network. This person would be familiar with network/optimization applications such as WireShark and OpNet (now Riverbed) that can be used to look at “chatty” applications. When not performing those duties, this person would be working on special projects for a Director of Information Technology or assisting the System Administration team with their duties (Server builds, Server administration, escalation support, etc.) *The primary job responsibilities of a Systems/Network Administrator are to ensure the stable operation of servers and infrastructure environments, including network components such as routers, switches*, VOIP, WAN, LAN, WLAN. This position will focus on network analytics and look for ways to make improvements.
