*Need GC/GC-EAD/US Citizens Only* *Position: Business Analyst* *Location: Owings Mills, MD/Remote Work * *Duration: 3 months Contract* *Job Description: * *Duties and responsibilities for Certified Professional Coder (CPC):* · Assist with reviewing existing ICD-9 Dx codes in the Dx Master File and clean up errant codes (this is simply data clean-up before mapping the ICD-9 codes to ICD-10)—Coders will provide recommended edits/corrections to existing ICD-9 codes. · After system has attempted to map ICD-9 codes to ICD-10, Coders will validate ICD-10 codes – accuracy, usability, errors (mismatch, no match (when there should be a match), etc.) · Conduct audit and provide recommended edits to post-mapped ICD-10 codes and descriptions · Maintain Coding Certification Credentials · Maintain Documentation of Maps and Decisions in Leap I-10 Mapping tool · Log and track mapping questions in HPQC · Participate in weekly coder meetings as required *Required Experience and Qualifications:* · Clinical experience in working with ICD-10 codes · Candidate must have one or more of any of these certifications: RN and/or CPC, CPC-H · Ideal Candidate will be a certified ICD-10 Trainer · Candidate must be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge using ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS Codes · Candidate must be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge using General Equivalence Mapping (GEMs) · Candidate must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience working with the ICD-10 Code Set Mapping · Prefer that the Candidate have a solid understanding in claim adjudication and editing systems · Candidate must demonstrate experience working in a team settings as well as independently · Candidate must have strong communication, writing and analytical skills · Candidate must demonstrate the ability to initiate work tasks including mapping approach and strategies with limited guidance · Strong customer skills with internal and external customers · Must be able to perform assigned tasks with minimum supervision · Prefer Candidate with one (1) year Payer coding experience · Two (2) years of recent and relevant hands-on coding experience · Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, pathophysiology, as well as ICD-9/10 and CPT/HCPCS code sets (knowledge of ICD-10 code set required effective October 1, 2013) · Ability to consistently code at 95% threshold for both accuracy and quality while maintaining client-specific and/or Precise production and/or quality standards · Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Products *Requirements:* · This in a remote position; however, the candidate must be online and respond to emails and IM messages timely during specified work hours, candidate should also be available to attend live meetings daily via phone/computer · Candidate must be available for week of in-person Leap I-10 Training · Candidate must be in Owings Mills for two (2) to three (3) days per month for team collaboration & meetings, and more frequently as necessary · Candidate must have laptop to access client required applications for day-to-day work and for onsite meetings · Candidate must have current ICD-9 and ICD-10 Coding Books If you are interested, please send resume to *sa...@saisoftsol.com <sa...@saisoftsol.com>* *Thanks & Regards,* *Sarat Kumar* *Technical Recruiter* *Sai Software Solutions, LLC* *2942 N 24th Street,* *Phoenix, AZ - 85016* *Off : 602-666-6356* *e-mail : sa...@saisoftsol.com <sa...@saisoftsol.com>* *web : www.saisoftsol.com <http://www.saisoftsol.com>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Business_Intelligence" group.
