*Duration: 6+months Contract* *Rate:DOE* *Job Overview* The Senior Cloud Developer will develop & deliver flexible, reusable solutions to assist & accelerate application development, migration & transformation to the public cloud. These solutions can include: reusable components, application programming interfaces, platform scaffolding, data structures, and/or orchestration recipes developed to leverage services & platforms in the public cloud. The ideal candidate will share cloud development best practices with Client application & development team *Responsibilities * · Develop and implement solid, scalable and flexible software solutions for business and application teams migrating, transforming, and/or developing applications in the public cloud. · Evaluate detailed technical application designs and serves as a subject matter expert for Client development teams in optimizing applications to take advantage of public cloud services. · Develop reusable solutions, to assist and accelerate business teams migrating, transforming, or creating applications for the public cloud. · Share, evangelize, and practice cloud development best practices and culture with business application and development teams. · Document, partner, and share templates, techniques, and artifacts with other development teams around Client. · Be a leader helping to drive the Client IT vision and a key contributor toward delivering upon the Client IT Strategic Imperatives (Process Excellence, Simplification, Collaboration, Security & Compliance) *Qualifications* · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management or 5-8+ years experience in developing, implementing and maintaining large scale Cloud Service technologies and processes · 5-8+ years experience in Cloud Service development, compute engineering, architecture and implementation *Preferred Qualifications:* - Demonstrated experience and expertise developing software and services for the cloud in at least one of the following: Ruby (core or on Rails), Python, Java, PHP, and/or .NET. - Hands on experience designing and implementing solutions leveraging multiple services within public cloud providers via provider and/or cross platform APIs. - Demonstrated Hands On Experience Developing Solutions with Cloud Orchestration Tools (Chef, Puppet, CFEngine, etc.) – Chef Certification a plus. - Demonstrated scripting experience (Python, Ruby, Perl, Bash, Powershell, etc.) - Thought leader, and/or certification in modern IT/developer operations. - Expertise in of Service-Oriented Architecture SOA (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, etc.) - Firm knowledge of web technologies such as HTTP, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, DHTML, CSS, etc.). - Demonstrated experience trading off between RDBMS and NoSQL. - Demonstrated experience with MapReduce frameworks and tools (Hadoop, Hive, HBase, Pig, Pig Latin, Cassandra, etc.). - Demonstrated Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle and Associated Tools - Proven ability to lead change across large platforms / functional areas using innovative technology solutions - Demonstrated experience preparing and migrating applications to public cloud services. - Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer; builds strong customer relationships; creates processes with customer viewpoint; partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives - Strong analytical and strong problem solving skills - communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve; creates actionable strategies and operational plans - Change oriented – actively generates process improvements; champions and drives change initiatives; confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly Thanks & Regards, K Rajesh |Sr. Talent Acquisition| |T. 630-219-1929|*raj...@egeni.com* <raj...@egeni.com>*|* www.egeni.com | Egen Solutions Inc| |LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/groups/Learn-Your-Job-6751433/about | |40 Shuman Blvd., Suite 302 Naperville, Illinois 60563 USA| -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Business_Intelligence" group.
