Looking for an energetic and passionate test engineer to join our agile development team. The qualified individual will work with developers to ensure everyone is developing quality deliverable s every sprint. The individual must be an active member of a scrum team, participating in all scrum ceremonies. Their input is critical in grooming, planning and retrospectives. They will assist in clarifying acceptance criteria for stories and ensuring that they are testable. *Responsibilities * ---------------- 1. Complete the suite of acceptance tests for each story delivered per sprint. 2. Manually test those things not yet automated (or that are difficult to automate) 3. Convert legacy manual tests (as-needed) to automated tests 4. Compile QA reports each sprint 5. Perform “ad-hoc” testing to discover oddities in behavior/usability etc. 6. Perform some level of system-level manual testing 7. Write-up clear and concise observations and defect reports. 8. Work with developers to reproduce bugs and verify when they have been fixed. *Requirements * ------------- 1. Bachelor of Science degree 2. 5-7 years of experience in software development and/or automated software testing 3. Experience in JavaScript and C# 4. Experience with Gherkin/Cucumber or similar technology 5. Experience with git and GitHub 6. Familiar with Jira or similar system 7. Experience working on an agile team.
