Essential skills and experience for the position: Soft skills and the ability to communicate clearly in English and work across multiple levels and teams · Actively working with F5 APM technologies · Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking services such as DNS, DNSSEC, UNIX, switches, routers and firewalls in Internet environments. · Working knowledge of web technologies such as HTTP Protocol, SSL certificates, Web Server Administration such as Apache or Microsoft Internet Information Services · Working knowledge of multi-tiered architectures, such as Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SharePoint, BEA WebLogic, Siebel and SAP. · Working knowledge of authentication mechanisms such as RSA, SAML, Kerberos, NTLM, and Radius. · F5 BIG-IP certifications will be required within nine months of hire. · It is helpful for candidates to have experience with the following: · Familiarity with OSI model, Citrix, Netscaler, VDI, Proxy, ADFS, SAML, Federation and App Publishing · Familiarity with the core F5 BIG-IP products, such as LTM, APM, ASM and GTM. · Familiarity with authentication protocols and methodologies · Familiarity with IPv6, NAT64 and DNS64. · Familiarity with IPSec and/or SSL VPN technologies. · Familiarity with service provider technologies such as SIP, RADIUS and DIAMETER. · Familiarity with Firepass and LTM · Troubleshooting technologies such as tcpdump, WireShark, HTTPwatch and Fiddler · F5 iRule development. · Scripting and development in Unix shell, Perl, Powershell, Java, C, .Net or similar environments · Working Knowledge of MS ADFS 3.0 · BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience. · Minimum of four years’ experience supporting technical environment. · Experience in large multi-national companies o 45,000 + employees o 15 + countries o 250 + locations · Normal 40 hour work week expected.
