*Please send your resume to divy...@idctechnologies.com <su...@idctechnologies.com>* *Location: San Bruno, CA* *Job description* *Job Title: SAS Admin with Code Optimization Experience (#2706)* *Location: South San Francisco, CA* *Experience Level: 8+ Years* *What you will do:* *Ensures the overall health of the SAS platform* *Applies maintenance releases, upgrades and hot fixes as required* • Mandatory to have Perform code optimization experience and debug SAS code when there are performance issues • Should have very good understanding of the native SAS code • Designs solutions to reduce the operational and management complexity of the platform • Designs, implements, and maintains platform security via SAS Metadata, Red Hat Enterprise Linux and the SAS Scalable Performance Data Server (SPDS) • Performs platform capacity planning and management • Serves as an escalation point for escalated production and/or platform issues. • Establishes best practices and guidelines for usage of the SAS platform • Analytical Requirements – Drive ROI for LOB/Enterprise by managing an end to end SAS solution that requires an analytical tool that only SAS can provide. • Be able to translate a customer’s business needs to a specific analytical solution. *Desired Skills:* *Experience with SAS 9.3 or higher.* • Configuration of SAS grid • Load balancing on LSF-Grid platform • Experience using RTM • Managing metadata repositories • Performing and scheduling regular backups of the Metadata Server and physical files • Monitoring, logging, and/or troubleshooting SAS servers and processes, including error messages and using system logs or setting logging options as well as options within SAS Management Console (SMC) • Troubleshooting basic SAS server issues, such as system access and password problems. • Understanding SAS installation directory structures, where to find things related to servers, configurations, content, etc. • Administering the scheduling of jobs and reports • Using SMC to administer metadata.
