*Position Title:  Senior Java Developer*

Equity Front Office developer, to join a technology team supporting
critical parts of the MSIM Equity business including decision support,
order generation and order management. Role is for three hands-on
developers with excellent communication skills to join an existing team to
assist with ongoing enhancements related to a specific investment team.
This is a fixed price contract to provide additional development resource
to an existing team.

The work will involve liaising directly with the stakeholders and users of
the system to determine the requirements, coming up with proposed designs
for review by the wider team, then finally implementing and testing the
solution.



*Responsibilities*

   - Work with existing development team and assist ongoing enhancements.
   - Liaising with the stakeholders and users of the system to determine
   the requirements.
   - Design, develop and unit test solutions assigned by technical manager.



*Skills Required*

   - 8+ years of Strong development and design experience in Java, UNIX,
   Java Web Service, *CXF* service framework, Hibernate, Object Oriented
   Design.
   - Should be familiar with three tier application architecture.
   - Development experience with C# .Net (Win Forms) is a plus.


   - Have strong verbal & written communication skills.
   - Good knowledge of database concepts and programming skills on SQL
   Server or Sybase or Oracle.
   - Data analysis and database design experience.
   - Experience in problem-solving/ conflict resolution, critical thinking
   and priority-setting.
   - Finance experience, specifically buy-side, multi-asset class
   front-office, multi-asset class trading, compliance is a plus
   - Familiarity with firm wide initiatives, e.g. TAM, Train, is a bonus.
