*Position:- SAP SD Solutions Architect * *Location:- Akron, OH* *Duration:- 12+ Months* *MOI:- Telephonic + Skype* *Job Description:- * · Initial focus on order cycle processes; i.e. sales order creation and processing, availability to promise (ATP), Product Allocations within ECC, order resolution, rescheduling (V_V2) within ECC, delivery notes creation and ship or cancel functionality. · The candidate is required to have experience and working knowledge of key master data elements such as; delivery plant assignment, customer (delivery) priority, freight policy, truckload build, allocation table & hierarchies, route definition (TVRO) and schedule agreement tables. · An expanded 2nd half 2015 focus will be replenishment and manufacturing cycle processes. · Experience in S/4 HANA and BRF plus / Delivery Service Manager would be a plus. *Specific business opportunity:* · The initial project objective is to evaluate our current order cycle processes and master data settings by using the “SAP reschedule simulation in production” and a “standalone testing environment” and recommend changes to maximize current month shipments (units); with specific focus on those processes and settings that can RELEASE material being held for future months. Subsequently this same evaluation and methodology will be expanded to the replacement and manufacturing cycle processes. *Resource Expectations:* · The candidate is expected to have analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify, document, and recommend solutions to complex business problems with accuracy. The candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and will have the ability to build strong working relationships with business and technical teams. · Specifically the candidate should have the ability to assist with the Infrastructure and Environment with respect to design and architecture recommendations and work with the IT group to implement the design. Additionally, the candidate will be required to support and maintain on-going daily activities, such as working with the business to identify scenarios that test various processes and master settings, execute and monitor various “test” scenarios, trouble shoot when necessary, compile and report on findings.
