Thanks.!!! *Job Title: Data Warehouse Architect Location: Washington DC* *Duration: 12 months* *In person interviews* * Local candidates only- VA, DC, MD * DHCF has an immediate need to hire a Data Warehouse Architect who will be responsible for the overall system architecture, design, and implementation of a Medicaid data warehouse. • Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and Data Reporting • Strong Architectural knowledge in Data Management and Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence design and development. • Strong requirements development (facilitation) and design skills in Business Intelligence solutions. • Preferences for strong solution development knowledge using ETL's tools including Data Manager, IBM Data Stage, Microsoft SSIS or any industry standard. • Strong Project Management abilities. • Strong Leadership abilities. • Strong data, application and integration technical skills. • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are essential. • Well-developed skills with Visio, MS-Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. • Experienced working in a deadline-driven environment, handling and prioritizing multiple tasks. • Demonstrated track record of successful project delivery. • Excellent conceptual, problem solving, and analytical skills. • Ability to work independently or as a member of a team on complex tasks. • Demonstrated competency in documenting solutions for both technical and functional audiences Top of Form Required / Desired Skills Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Expertise Rating Bachelor's Degree Required 3 Years Information Management or Computer Science or related field Required 3 Years RDBMS applications with ETL tools, complex SQL logic and query optimization Required 5 Years SQL Server 2008 or later Required 3 Years ETL Tools: Informatica, SSIS, SyncSort DMX, Data Stage, AB Initiio, or Talend Required 5 Years Data warehousing methodologies including dimensional modeling Required 5 Years Advanced Oracle database Required 3 Years Erwin or Embarcadero ERStudio Required 3 Years Kimball methodology, slowly changing dimensions, and CDC (change data capture) strongly preferred.
