* Position: DevOps Engineer* *Location: Toledo, Ohio (Locals Only)* *Duration: 6 Months + Extension* *Max Rate: 55/hr on C2C* *****Locals Only***** *Job Description: * TFS, power shell, ant, gradle, git, unix scripting, java, tomcat experience, Jenkins. Understands branching using git • Extensive experience in implementing configuration management, change management, environment management, build and deployment and release management processes and policies. • Excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to resolve issues quickly. • Strong verbal and written communication skills; effective customer service skills with excellent documentation and presentation skills. • Strong scripting skills • Automation of Build, deployment and smoke testing of .Net applications using TFS • Integrating the Third Party Tools with TFS for ALM & Traceability • Good experience in Microsoft Products and their deployment PowerShell. • Extensive Experience in setting up the ALM Environment in Team Foundation Server. • Working experience with the Microsoft products & their Integration to different third party tools. • Expert knowledge in Technical and Functional features of TFS which includes SharePoint, Source Control, Work Items, TFS Builds, Reporting. • Production Support experience supporting critical applications requiring high levels of troubleshooting and domain expertise. • Well versed with project management processes and software development methodologies such as SDLC. • Manage user permissions per project/collection/Sharepoint Sites • Manage users for team rooms. • Take the necessary actions on projects within a collection: o Add new project in Visual Studio 2015 o Delete projects in TFS o Edit projects in TFS • Manage work items, PBI’s, and Features for deletion and user locking • Manage user work spaces and through TFS Sidekicks • Enhance/implement new features into the TFS templates • Manage collections • Manage templates between projects • Implement queries for TaskTop integration per project • Ops Support on all TFS related servers (Web, Database) • Query creation for projects both public and private • Customize templates per business requirements and maintain versions between customizations • Support users when they have questions. • Provide training to end users • Implement additional tools to enhance the functionality and extend TFS • Audit users for licensing and correct permission provisioning • Research TFS add ons and promote add ons through PARC that enhance the TFS experience • Provide backups of Production to QA for end users or UAT • Research/Implement updates from Microsoft for TFS • Coordinate user testing and acceptance of changes.
