As a BA, the primary responsibility is gathering and documenting business functional and non-functional requirements, reviewing with the document with business stakeholders and finalizing and obtaining a sign off from the stakeholders on the completeness and accuracy of the specifications document. As a business analyst he / she also plays an integral part with the testing team and helps in creating and / or coordinating the test cases preparation, test data creation where necessary and coordinating test execution, defect analysis and resolution. *Skills Required:* Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a business analyst in insurance / Reinsurance industries. 3 to 5 years’ experience as a project manager independently managing small to medium sized projects in insurance / financial industries. 2 or more years of experience in using HP ALM for tracking the requirements through all phases of the SDLC Strong data background and sound technical knowledge in SQL server database Experience in all Microsoft office 2010 tools – Word, Excel, Power point, Visio, Project Very strong communication (both verbal and written), negotiation, analytical and problem solving skills. Experience with implementation of data warehouse and enterprise reporting systems.
