"We need someone that has design and development experience. Taking that a step farther is that we need someone that has the Java/Distributed skill sets that can figure things out on his/her own and how to implement. For example, someone who is able to read a file in and *convert xml to java.*Then look at the problem, and come back with some different solutions such as open source options *XStream*, *Castor, or coding* it by hand. Someone that can then articulate these different options pros and cons. I would like to have someone that can mentor beginner Java developers so we can start increasing our skill sets in the home office.
