Job Title: Sr. Flex Engineer Client Name: AT&T Location: Atlanta, GA After phone screen, In-person Interview must *Job Description:* • Work with the development manager and team lead to identify tasks and schedules to meet project deadlines. Perform your assignments on time. Provide clear, concise and accurate status to your team lead and management. • Research tools and frameworks that will enhance the end user experience and simplify and/or speed development. • Work closely with a team to implement an interactive UI to capture, scrub, and manipulate data from external customers and internal support staff • Bring new ideas into the group related to development strategies and propose development goals for Java, Flex, related projects. • Maintain existing applications and develop new solutions using technologies such as Flex, and maintain all assets under source control. • Assist in the design and documentation of custom software solutions which include database models, software architecture, process flow, and web navigation. • Unit test all software components prior to release to the Quality Assurance (QA) group and efficiently communicate with QA during the development cycle. • Use development, staging and production environments and develop automated tools and procedures to build and promote software through the development cycle to deliver regular upgrades with enhancements. • From time-to-time, perform adhoc technical assignments to build prototypes, proof of concepts or other specialized tasks. • Assist in gathering project requirements with other department and team members. Produce prototypes and technical papers to communicate requirements and technical features for review and approval. • Work with peers across teams to identify tools and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy of the technology services provided to our customers. Research new technologies, software tools etc. *Required Skills:* • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred • TBD plus years experience developing applications in Java and J2EE • TBD plus years experience developing web based applications using Adobe Flex • TBD plus years experience architecting web based applications using Adobe Flex • Must have experience leading and participating with software development teams throughout the web software development process • Must be able to quickly assess and react to changing circumstances and new information • Must be able to communicate effectively with team members, customers, peers, and management • TBD plus years of development in a role heavily focused on Web deliveries (Java, J2EE, Flex) • Understand and worked on data driven applications • Cross browser compatibility *Secondary Skills: (Preferred, but not Required Skills)* • Experience with other development and/or scripting languages (i.e. C, C++) is a plus *Interview process:* 1. Face to Face Panel Interview (On-Site) 2.
