Duration: 3-6 Months ** * * *Project includes: * *District College’s Directory Design Interoperability Project * District College has created a scalable Active Directory (including Microsoft Networking and Exchange Email systems) that coexists with our Novell eDirectory systems. District College has a consulting opportunity for a Novell Operating Systems Specialist to provide assistance in maintaining and enhancing our synchronization applications that are using Novell IDM to maintain interoperability between our Novell directories/servers and with our new Microsoft Active Directory systems. The selected vendor/staff should have a thorough knowledge of Novell’s IDM technologies, eDirectory, Netmail, and File System Factory. This project assignment will require strong Novell eDirectory and IDM 3.61 technical and analytical skills. There is a preference for staff with experience with both Novell’s eDirectory/Netmail and Microsoft’s Active Directory/Exchange. * * *Vendor Response * 1. Responses should assume an intended project start date of March 1, 2010. It is anticipated that this effort will require 40 hours per week for approximately *4 months*. District College is looking for *one consultant *to assist on the above project. 2. Vendors must respond with a detailed resume and provide reference accounts for which similar implementations have been completed. The District pays no fees for travel expense or other reimbursement. All work will be performed on site at District College facilities. 3. The submittal must include high level experiences in projects involving the following technologies: Novell’s IDM 3.5, eDirectory, File System Factory, and GroupWise. There is a preference for staff with experience with both Novell’s eDirectory/GroupWise, and Microsoft’s Active Directory/Exchange.
