Location: Waukegan, IL Start: ASAP Interview: F2F/Phone Rate: $50/hr all inc * Candidates must have over 10 years experience at Enterprise-level Data Modeling. * Experience with Healthcare-related Manufacturing companies. * Next best would be Manufacturing companies with a significant Quality component. * Ability is required to take a high-level architecture along with data requirements to a data strategy, specific logical models, into physical models, into actual implementation. * Must know the right questions to ask so that critical pieces of the architecture/model are not missed. * Experience with specific tools/products in place: Oracle, Cognos, and Informatica. * Experience with MDM vendors Siperian and/or Initiate Systems is desired. * This person will be interacting with all levels of divisional IT management, architects, project managers, BSAs, DBAs, business customers (data consumers), etc. * Based on this extensive interaction, superb verbal and written communication skills are required. * Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork skills, problem solving skills, and being a detail-oriented self-starter and self-motivator are all required. 1. This position is primarily an expert Data Modeler (this was not an available template to select from). 2. The Diagnostics Division is kicking off a major project to build its Master Data Management (MDM) Operational Data Store (ODS) of the future. 3. This will be the hub through which all divisional data will pass, integrating data producers with data consumers. 4. The proper architecture and data modeling is critical for the success of major IT initiatives going forward. 5. The high-level architecture is in place. 6.
