*Location: Vernon Hills, IL* *Duration: 5 months* * * *Responsibilities:* * * · Manage/lead assigned waves - understand and direct/participate in all phases of wave migration planning, execution, support and closure. · Prioritize work and schedules related to each migration workload. · Review project team deliverables to ensure quality (walk-through, test results, etc.) and adherence standards/regulatory requirements. · Interact with customers to understand their business and to anticipate IT solutions based on business and technical knowledge. · Provide project team performance feedback to team leads · Provide metrics and measures of success for each completed migration. *Knowledge & Experience: * · Individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed above satisfactorily and demonstrated in prior work experience. · Experience migrating workloads in a large Windows and Solaris environment a must. · Expert in project management/processes and/or SDLC. · Strong business acumen. · Solid presentation skills, oral and written communication skills and teamwork skills. · Strong influencing skills. · Proven track record on delivering large scale projects. · Prudent risk taker. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred or relevant work experience. Should have at least 10 years of project management in IT infrastructure field. Experience managing activities related to migration of data center workloads in a large complex Windows and Sun server environment. Must be familiar with healthcare industry and regulatory requirements. PMI and 6 sigma certification a plus.
