*Skills and duties:*
A. Listens and absorbs requirements in customer requirements gathering
meetings led by Business Analyst/Product Owner.
B. Creates detailed test plans, test cases, test scripts and test
data. Creates test reports. Develops processes, procedures, forms and
templates for all such testing. Determines operational, technical and
support requirements for all such testing.
C. Take Business Analyst/Product Owner acceptance criteria and verbal
requirements and work with developers to create ad hoc test cases quickly.
D. Plans for amount of work that can be delivered in a given timeframe.
E. Assures that the software delivered by the team in each sprint meet
the customer requirements and are of highest quality; provides inspections,
testing and guidance to assure that all software acquired or developed by
the Project Management Office meets the current standards, guidelines and
best practices for protecting agency and personnel data, for security, and
for financial calculations as defined by operating processes and
legislation.
F. Communicates with project manager, technical team lead, team
members and customers about testing tasks and results and to understand
their needs. Documents all work, as requested.
G. Keeps team informed on issues and the status of work planned and
completed by participating in daily 15 minute Scrum meetings
H. Raise impediments to getting tasks done.
I. Self-organizes and works independently on tasks as well as closely
with others when needed.
J. Collaborates with team members effectively during planning of
tasks and implementation of tasks.
K. Takes responsibility for resolving interpersonal issues if they
arise with team members.
L. Willingness to work as part of a team to develop software using the
Scrum framework.
M. May plan, assign, and/or supervise the work of others.
N. Performs other related duties as assigned.
