Job Purpose/ Description:       • Candidate will be part of the Imaging
Workflow production support team and be part of the day to day
production support duties, 2010 projects, process improvements, new
system improvement efforts
• Candidate may act as a team member or the lead
• Excellent ability to work with business owners and AD teams to
support applications that comprise components from different vendors;
develops business cases; monitors SLAs and Disaster Recovery
requirements
• Negotiates deliverables from initial requirements to final
implementation by leading communication between business units and IT.
• Recommends buy vs. build decisions, as well as the development of
new code vs. the reuse of existing code.
• Participates in component and data architecture design, performance
monitoring, and product evaluations.
• Evaluates and implements new initiatives on process improvement and
technology initiatives.
• Assists management in coordinating business area activities and
balancing workload.
• Analyzes complex performance and capacity issues with
systems / applications software
and / or system components.
• May design, implement and improve workflows, as well as assign
projects.
Tasks and Responsibilities:     • Displays problem solving and analytical
skills, using them to resolve business / system problems.
• Completely adept at understanding and executing the details across
multiple operations functions within the end-to-end flow of
operations.
• Adept at understanding operational nuances across multiple business
areas.
• Excellent communication, analytical, negotiation, and leadership
skills; solid technical and problem solving abilities.
• May be responsible for supervising staff in the execution of
projects
• May serve as back-up for manager.
• May have involvement with the business during its strategic planning
and budget cycles to leverage knowledge and anticipate technology
transformation potential from a customer perspective; provides buy vs.
build recommendations; assists in platform determination.
Required education/experience:  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work
experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related
field.
• Excellent working knowledge of
systems / applications software and the Information Technology
industry; understands their role in supporting business requirements /
technical solutions.
• Responsible for developing and executing project plans, as well as
coordinating groups of IT staff.
