Our client, a leading trading firm based in Chicago, is looking for a C++
GUI Developer to join their technology team on a contract basis.
As a GUI Developer, you will assist with the development and maintenance of
software applications for their electronic trading systems.
You will work directly with traders, quantitative researchers and other IT
staff to gather requirements and develop GUIs geared for: Front-Office
Trading, Electronic Trading Systems and Position Keeping. This is a
long-term contract opportunity.
*Requirements:*
* 3+ years of experience developing GUI applications in a trading
environment.
* Superior C++, Windows and UNIX / Linux skills.
* Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures.
* Experience with cross-platform (Windows / Linux) GUI libraries.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Education: B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar
engineering field.
