********IMMEDIATE NEED *********** * * *Location: Burbank, CA* *Duration: 6 months* Provide technical expertise for concept analysis, requirements definition, design creation, development, integration, test, and problem resolution on Brake Control Software with some guidance from his/her peers, with the following key objectives: • Develop software that meets performance specification • Demonstrate expertise in our software development process using industry and company standards as a guideline • Create software design documentation from requirements documentation • Code and implement software; be responsible for integration and debug of software products • Perform Analysis of requirements, design and code to assure compliance to standards and guidelines. Maintain traceability of software process outputs • Develop test cases and procedures; be responsible for execution of test procedures • Be responsible for maintaining software updates during development, integration, flight test and certification • Analyze, troubleshoot and provide solutions for software problems • Accomplish project objectives and completion of assigned tasks on schedule and within budget; be prepared to work extended hours, if necessary, to complete a task *KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: • B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or other related Science/Engineering field, or equivalent* •* Eight years minimum experience in engineering * • Five year minimum experience with design and development of software driven systems in* aerospace industry* is preferred •* Experience in C/C++ Programming Language* • *Experience in assembly languages preferred * *• Knowledge of RTCA/DO-178B process * • Good technical writing and presentation skills • Good verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency with computer based engineering methods and computer tools • Work in a team environment and demonstrate teamwork, cooperation, respect, and integrity • *Possess the ability to logically solve problems and to keep projects moving in an orderly and structured fashion.* Thanks!!
