The candidate must be able to produce well-designed, readable, supportable business rules while adhering to SOA development standards. This candidate must be flexible with multi-tasking and adjust to reprioritization of work. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Bachelors degree in Computer Science or relevant industry experience required. Candidate should have 5+ years of J2EE development experience (JSP, Servlets, EJB, SDO, JDBC) Good working knowledge of object oriented design. SOA Knowledge and Experience, with at least 1 2 practical implementations. Able to read design specifications to enhance SOA components Experience with Struts framework or JSF frameworks for developing Web applications. Perform fixes in response to reported software defects. Participate in requirements, design and code review. Able to write technical design documents and create/update developer guides. The candidate must show success in developing new applications as well as maintaining existing code. Experience with relational databases and writing SQL for DB2. Familiarity with Agile, RUP and the use of UML tools and techniques is desired. Excellent communication and written skills are required. Must be self-motivated with the ability to accomplish tasks with minimal direction.
