Position: BO Developer Location: Springfield, IL Duration: 6-12 months *Job Description / Required skills: *Our Client currently has (1) position available for a Senior Business Objects Developer for a long-term stable opportunity* *located in Springfield, IL. *Responsibilities: *The assignment is on a Data Warehouse project in Springfield IL. The technical environment consists of a Teradata Data Warehouse. Currently they are using the Teradata ETL tools (which are not nearly as good as other tools such as IBM’s Datastage or Informatica). There is interest in possibly starting to use another ETL tool – probably IBM’s Datastage, but it could possibly be Informatica. They take data off the large Data Warehouse and bring it down to SQL Server databases. Then, ad-hoc querying can be done against those SQL Server databases. Currently on Business Objects XI-r2 Here are the skill sets we would like to see in candidates (in order of importance, but the more they have of these, the better candidate they will be). 1. Business Objects Report Development 2. Business Objects Administration (installing fix-packs, etc. on the servers) 3.
