Minimum 5 and preferably 8+ yrs of experience in developing database projects using SQL Server 2005/2008 2. Expert-level SQL Server development using Transact-SQL 3. Hands-on SQL-XML Programming skills 4. Strong in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for report generation 5. Good in performance tuning especially tuning complex queries, procedures and indexing strategies 6. Experience in Data Modeling, Database design and well-verse with SQL Server best practices 1. Good to have SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) knowledge and experience 2. Good to have .Net programming skills 3. XML Extraction and Transformation 4. XML Databases and Indexing/Search/Lucene 5. Performs advanced troubleshooting across all application components, debug, fix code, deploy and test the fixes. 6. Applies solid technical abilities, analytical, problem solving skills and application knowledge in resolving the production issues 7. Resolve challenging problems in collaboration with others. 8. Diagnoses and troubleshoots complex application problems, and leverages tools and resources appropriately to identify solutions 9. Must have excellent analytical, problem solving and trouble shooting skills. 10. Work with other infrastructure team such as server team, network team, database team, and development teams on installation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution 11. Significant experience with the full software development lifecycle so as to be able to identify dependencies and risks. 12. Broad understanding and knowledge of current IT domains, usage patterns, and trends. 13.
