Position: Mom/Scom Engineer Location: Redmond, WA Duration :2+ years * * *Requirements: * 5+ years experience managing MS MOM / System Center Operations Manager environments. Experience managing a large MOM / SCOM environment. Strong Experience customizing and authoring SCOM Management Packs Strong understanding of ITIL principles related to IT Service Management Strong understanding of TCP/IP and SNMP Experience in developing .NET customizations and C# Ideal additional skills: Experience creating scripts (PERL, VB, JavaScript, Powershell) to be used to augment monitoring / alerting. Experience working with MS-SQL 2005 / 2008, including performing adhoc queries. Experience with other management / monitoring solutions *Responsibilities:* Consulting with the Service Delivery Management team, and customers to determine requirements Taking customer and CIBER requirements and turning them into a change requests to initiate the development process for management packs, or custom code. Leading the development / debugging / implementation of custom written Management Packs.
