World Class Service Recovery System - Rebooking - requires additional JAVA
developers to design and develop a proactive, all-encompassing service
recovery system. Utilizes OR environment, many data feeds, and interfaces
with various distribution channels. High visibility project.
*Job Overview:*
Responsible for participating in the development, maintenance, enhancement,
and support of applications.
*Essential Responsibilities:*
• Understand business requirements in order to provide the technical design
of computer software.
• Possess programming expertise in 1 of Client Technology’s standard
programming languages in order to develop and maintain computer software.
• Develop appropriate software and documentation according to client
Technology standards.
• Support and troubleshoot computer systems as required, optimizing
performance, resolving problems, and providing timely follow up on all
problems.
• Follow Client Technology standards and methodologies in the development
and implementation of computer software.
*May perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Entry Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in CS, Engineering, or IS or any equivalent combination
of experience, education, and/or training in the computer systems
development field. Previous *airlin*e experience ideal.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Experience building computer software within the *Airlin*e business a
plus.
