SAP Basis/Portal Consultant Location: DURHAM, NC Duration: 6 months Req Details: * Knowledge SAP Enterprise Portal 7.0 (with at least EhP1), * Knowledge IDE SAP Netweaver Developer studio, ABAP Webdynpro * Complete understanding of administration and maintenance of SLDE Administration of Portal and Java Stack * Knowledge BASIS Administrator of ECC6 systems both Abap and Java Stack. * Should have at least 3 portal E2E implementations and with client handling skill as Portal Architect * 7+ years Java, J2EE, JSP development experience * Experience with integrating web technologies such as BSP (Business Server Pages), WebDynpro, and Adobe Interactive Forms * Knowledge of Content Management, User Management, System Administration, and Knowledge Management * 8+ current years experience in supporting multiple SAP implementations and upgrades (e.g. SAP ECC, SOLMAN, CHARM, Upgrade to 7.0, NetWeaver, SAP Portal, BI, XI and related SAP modules), supporting * Manage and adhere to schedule. * Candidate must have strong troubleshooting skills regarding basis issues and SAP Support. * Must have experience with pre and post-upgrade cutover tasks for Basis and security. * Must know how to apply latest kernel patches and support packages. * Must be proficient in Unix database administration. * Required good communication and writing skills.
