WebFOCUS Developer Location: Smithsfield, RI Duration: 6+ months Req Details: WebFOCUS Report Development . Work closely with project team to develop WebFOCUS reports . Represent the team in Project meetings . Provide estimates for proposed new work . Liaison to more junior WebFOCUS developers to ensure work is distributed and completed IN- PERSON interview required. WebFOCUS Product knowledge . Maintain awareness of the current product capabilities . Pro-actively suggest improvements/utilization of WebFOCUS modules for the betterment of the organization . Work with Project Technical Lead to determine design approach of WebFOCUS-related components. Recommend ways to best utilize WebFOCUS in the solution. Leadership . Provide a leadership role as WebFOCUS "Tech Lead". Work closely with project teams and other WebFOCUS developers to develop solutions to satisfy business requirements. . Develop standards and best practices for WebFOCUS report development, code reviews, and project engagement . Effectively communicate information and issues to all key technology and business partners Qualifications Education and Experience: . 10+ years work experience . 5+ years of experience with WebFOCUS . 7+ experience with SQL, PL/SQL . Experience with Web technologies (HTML/AJAX) a plus . Experience integrating with web services, developing stored procedures . Well versed in database technologies . B.S. in a computer-related field is preferred Skills and Knowledge: . Demonstrated ability to balance priorities and simultaneous projects . High degree of emotional intelligence . Strong judgment, issues management, excellent trouble-shooting abilities . Highly organized, ability to coordinate activities across groups . Ability to effectively communicate within the team and across groups. Excellent verbal/writing/listening skills . Knowledge of Financial Services concepts . Strong customer focus with world class customer service skills . Pro-active, recommends process improvements . Ability to quickly learn new technologies .
