Technical team member to design and implement database monitoring using the
Netezza Mantra appliance to support the Information Security and Compliance
Technology Monitoring project.
*Complete Description: *
- Design and implement database monitoring using the Netezza Mantra
appliance to support the Information Security and Compliance Office
Technology Monitoring project.
- Work with the Technology Monitoring project team, application owners,
database administrators, system engineers, and network engineers to design,
configure, implement, and support database monitoring solutions.
- Perform duties as assigned, which may include, but are not limited to,
capacity planning, hardware and software configuration and installation,
upgrading, monitoring, tuning, responding to trouble calls, data backup and
recovery, automation of processes, and configuration of the security of the
Netezza Appliance.
- The successful candidate will collaborate with the technical lead to
solve technical problems. After decisions have been made, the technician
will be expected to work independently to implement the solution.
- Must possess excellent troubleshooting skills as well as strong written
and verbal communication skills.
- This position requires at least five years of IT experience and a
Bachelor’s degree in the computer field.
