"Oracle PL/SQL developer" - Fulltime or Contract on W2
* *
*Technical Skills Required:*
This position is for a senior Oracle developer. Developer will be
responsible for the tasks assigned and will be expected to pro-actively
look for areas of improvement. Task assignment will involve developing and
tuning of Oracle Stored Procedures in a UNIX Solaris Environment for Data
Warehousing. Will also be responsible for Table Design specific to Data
Warehousing and Reporting.
Technology used for the application where developer will be allocated are as
below.
Programming Language used: Primarily: PL/SQL. Also used: SQL, Unix shell
scripting, Perl scripting, SQR and BQY
Database: Oracle 10g and 11g
Platform: Unix, Hyperion, Windows
Tool: Toad, MS office, PVCS
- Database
- Minimum 4 years working knowledge of Oracle Stored Procedures
- Excellent PL/SQL Skills
- SQL Loader skills
- Design and building Database views and tables
- Performance tuning
- Hyperion - (*The skill set are a plus** * and not required for the
position)
- Experience writing SQR
- Experience with creation of SQI's
- SQR report formatting experience
- Experience in building OLAP reports charts and Pivots
- Experience with Hyperion 8.5 platform
- Ability to quickly learn the application and tools. Analytical skill is
a big plus.
- Application architecture experience is a plus.
- Independent and reliable worker.
