Job Title: SAP PP (Plan to Manufacture) Location: Houston, TX Duration: Long-term role SAP P2M (Plan to Manufacture) Production Planning role The Production Planning role, this is what they need to have SAP Functional PP (Production Planning) Consultant. Job Description: Under general supervision, formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications. Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide business solutions to meet user needs. Posses expertise in the business unit(s) they support, as well as, an understanding of the IT organization's systems and capabilities. Helps educates the IT organization on the direction of the business. Analyzes business partner's operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes. Negotiates agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation. Possesses an understanding of technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprise's competitive edge. Provides options & recommendations on business solutionsbusiness improvements etc. May lead medium to large, medium complexity projects. Duties and Responsibilities: § Conducts business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses in order to align information technology solutions with business initiatives. § Analyzes and evaluates existing and/or proposed systems § Lead process configuration design activities. § Collaborates with functional design and assist teams in providing IT solutions for business requirements. § Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis § Provides information, guidance, and assistance to more junior level employees Requirements: Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent experience SAP experience Good knowledge with hands-on experience of SAP SD or SAP Fico experience Six Sigma Green Belt certified PMP and/or CBAP certification is preferred Skills: Demonstrates extensive knowledge of the principles, concepts and theories in own discipline, and broad knowledge of principles and concepts of other functions. Has developed extensive business knowledge and keeps current on industry trends. Has presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with business leadership. Able to lead medium to large projects. Recognized as a subject matter expert.
