*Business Analyst with NASCO claims systems* *Duration: 9+ Months*
*Location: Detroit, MI* *NASCO claims systems, including FDE, EEC, HIQK, suspend codes, GENO tables is Essential.* Skills/Qualifications: · Minimum of 5-7 years of health care experience preferred. · Working knowledge of NASCO claims systems, including FDE, EEC, HIQK, suspend codes, GENO tables. · Knowledge of BCBSM operating systems preferred. · Knowledge of claims processing, benefit administration, policy/procedure, and reimbursement. · Experience developing a process flow or work flow diagram. · Ability to describe common process bottlenecks. · Experience developing and maintaining technical reference documents. · Knowledge of technical documentation standards, guidelines, and best practices. · Experience with automated documentation tool. · Previous experience preparing operational work flows and detailed procedures. · Knowledge of business process design that encourages a critical fresh look at key processes and focuses on maximizing organizational performance. · Ability to measure the quality and quantity of work effort for the purpose of improvement. · Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational, or process problems. · Ability to produce a variety of business documents that demonstrate command of language, clarity of thought and orderliness of presentation. · General understanding of project phases. · Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills required. · High proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required. Successful completion of Microsoft Office Suite training preferred. · Strong organizational and follow-through skills, and particularly strong attention to detail required. · Strong creative problem solving skills required. · Demonstrated flexibility, self-discipline and ability to work independently, as well as within a group, required. · Ability to work effectively with multiple internal and external clients required. · Ability to handle multiple tasks and implementation timeframes required. · Ability to interact effectively with representatives at various levels required. · Ability to perform as a self-starter, with motivation to consistently produce high quality results required. · Ability to effectively prepare, conduct participate in and follow up on business meetings.
