Job Title: Business Analyst (Clinical) Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 10+ Months contract This position is responsible for identifying, and writing business requirements for the Enterprise HealthCare Management release management items. Work w/ the 4 divisions on items that is presented to the change control board for future releases w/in Care Planner Web. 1. Conduct business requirements gathering 2. Conduct detailed analysis and make recommendations for process improvements. 3. Coordinate data transmission process with end users, ITG, and vendors. 4. Conduct testing on data for the releases. 5. Prepare executive summaries and presentations. 6. Build relationships and represent the department with end users, ITG, management and external vendors. 7. Maintain technical skills on relevant systems. 8. Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies. 9. Maintain complete confidentiality of company business. 10. Maintain communication with management regarding developments within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested. Technical Skills REQUIRED: Bachelor Degree in Business or Technology or Healthcare Field 2 years experience in writing business requirements 2 years experience in creating test plans and performing UAT testing 2 years experience in MS Access and MS Excel. Experience analyzing and preparing recommendations on process improvement. Project management experience. Systems database testing experience. Verbal and written communications skills to interact with internal customers, management and vendors. Analytical, organizational and planning skills. Technical Skills NICE TO Have's: Registered Nurse Experience in the managed care environment. Knowledge of medical terminology.
