SQL Database Developer (1 person) Duration: 4 months (or to the end of the project which could go 6-7 months)
Location: Greater Boston, MA I need some "core" (OLTP) developers. With XML experience from a SQL Server 2005/2008, or even Oracle, standpoint. . Please only send Core Database Development guys as opposed to being more BI focused. Skills: . Microsoft SQL Server experience: 2-3 years . Full understanding of relational technology (tables, indexes, keys, referential integrity, etc.) . Strong SQL query skills involving complex joins, etc. o Set-based logic o Fully comprehends transactions and performance implications of code/logic/SQL statements. . Strong T-SQL skills with stored procedures, functions, etc. . Full understanding of XML and XQuery (XPath) query syntax. o Parsing XML and re-creating XML from relational data. . Any Oracle experience considered a plus. . MANAGER NOTE: It seems that the database developers that you have sent tend to have a BI focus rather than a core database development focus.
