*Position Title: Hyperion Essbase Developer * *Location: Parsippany, NJ*
*Duration: 6 months* * * *Qualifications: * - Requires a Bachelor's degree (preferably in a business-related field, such as Accounting or Information Systems). - Minimum 5 – 8 years experience managing financial planning and reporting systems - Hands on experience with creating and maintaining Hyperion Essbase applications, databases, outlines, calculation scripts, security and load rules - Previous experience with financial system project implementations - Experience with financial systems and procedures, data verification and a solid understanding of financial statements and concepts - Hands on experience with Essbase administration applications and tools including but not limited to EAS, Essbase Studio, EIS, Hyperion Reporting studio - Experience with Essbase version 11.1.1.3x or higher (company is currently using Hyperion System 11.1.1.3), and knowledge of working with Essbase Excel add-in, and other Hyperion Reporting tools is required. - Experience with building BSO cubes and optimizing BSO cubes. - Experience with use and development of ASO cubes and MDX commands - Experience with use of sparse/dense dimensionality concepts, attribute dimensions, calculation scripts, load rules, security filters and MAXL commands. - Basic PL/SQL knowledge. - Experience with writing system scripts and proficient with VBA and excel code - Some knowledge of Oracle Financials applications would be highly regarded - Excellent analytical and problem solving skills - Ability to interact with and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization - Detail oriented and process improvement focused - Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks *Primary Responsibilities* - Manage security, member formula changes, application and database tuning, MDX formulas, calculation script changes and any other Essbase related objects through the companies software development life-cycle process - Develop systems solutions and modify or upgrade existing systems procedures as required - Develop systems documentation in support of business policies and procedures - Perform quality assurance testing of the hyperion essbase and related systems and processes - Conduct beta testing, develop test cases and manage the test environment - Co-ordinate problem resolution with Hyperion and/or other software vendor technical support and the IT department - Be involved in ad-hoc projects; including system upgrades, migration from other OLAP’s such as TM1, capital planning, salary forecasting models and additional Oracle EBS interfaces. - Liaison between the IT and Finance department to achieve mutual goals - Participate in the migration from the current reporting OLAP databases onto Hyperion Essbase - Support the Finance division with integration of new company acquisitions and business reorganizations - Identify, implement and test patches and upgrades and maintain up-to-date documentation of Hyperion-related configuration. - Trouble-shoot and resolve technical issues and work with business to solve functional issues. - Recommend corrective actions for issues, taking into account user needs and IT resources. - Monitor application performance, availability, and utilization. - Work closely with management and end-users to develop and enhance the application processes that will result in a stable productive environment. - Recommend Best Practices in the Hyperion world. - Assist in providing global database support to the finance user community in the US and international offices** Work closely with the Hyperion Essbase functional and process administrator Thank you, *Mamatha Paladugu, *Business Development Manager *Libsys Inc **'IT Sharps'* Direct 630-303-9072 | Office 630-799-1556 | Fax 630 689 5724 [email protected] <[email protected]> | www.LibsysInc.com *Award Winners* *#"Inc500: Fastest Growing Companies in America" #"Chicago's 101 Best & Brightest Companies To Work For" #"Deloitte: Technology Fast 500 in America" #"VII-100: Top 10 Fastest Growing in America" #"CRN: Fast Growth 100" #"Diversity Business: Top Small Business"* ************************************************************************************* The information contained in this communication is confidential, private, proprietary, or otherwise privileged and is intended only for the use of the addressee.
