We’ve Urgent requirement with one of our client for *QA performance Tester *Job opening Location *Vacaville, CA* *Position Title: QA performance Tester* *Location: Vacaville, CA* *Duration: 6 Months Contract* *Tasks The Consultant resource tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:* • Create/ Perform Regression/System Test scripts using QTP. • Perform Load Test using Load Runner. • Maintain library of Test Data • Monitor the system for any performance degradation. • All communication, both oral and written, is clear, concise, and timely. • Present the results to the management for review and feedback. • Make recommendations to improve process, procedure, and guidelines relating to testing approach, if necessary. • All assignments are completed by the target dates • Team members are provided effective mentoring & training Review and quality assure code • Review and quality assure unit test plans and system test plans • Validate unit test results • Create test environment • Write positive and negative test cases • Perform QA testing • Log and track defects. • Defect resolution. • Test and develop test cases • Review Requirement Document, Test Plan document to ensure all the scenarios are covered. • Analyze system gaps, provide the solutions. • Participate in team meetings and project planning and preparation as requested Experience, Knowledge Level, and Technical Skills * * *The Consultant resource shall possess most of the following technical knowledge and experience:* • 3+ years of recent experience in Performance Testing with LoadRunner. • 3+ years of recent experience in Regression/System Testing with QTP. • Knowledge of Quality Center. • Knowledge of ClearCase/ Sharepoint/ Version Control Tool. • Strong understanding of performance testing life cycle and concepts. • Working experience with Oracle Database. • System performance testing methodology awareness: peak, spike & endurance tests. • Understand the application and write test cases/scripts/conditions and its review preferably using a tool (e.g. QTP,LoadRunner). • Analyze, prepare and publish test reports to leads. • Attitude towards tuning will be an added advantage. • Strong communication skills, a good team player and the ability to interact with business users. • Update weekly status to QA Manager/Lead. • Understand System specifications.
