*Mobile Software Developer (iOS / Android Developer)* * . Location: King of Prussia, PA* *Duration: 6 months but it will mostly likely go longer.* * * *Interview Process: They are open to H1 visa holders and could possibly hire over the phone, however, the person must be on-site to work - no remote. * * * *Description* *· Need a software engineer who also has a networking/systems development background. Would prefer both iOS and Android but they will take an iOS candidate who wants to learn Android. Someone with Linux Kernel experience would be fantastic, or someone with middleware connectivity experience, or someone skilled at building libraries, or work on an access manager system. * *· In a nutshell, they are looking for a Developer with both iOS and Android development experience. They plan to deploy software on both platforms. They are also working at the networking / connectivity level, so they also would like someone with embedded, kernel, or networking stack / telephony skills.* * * *Qualifications* *Experienced Software Developer for Mobile Platforms, including Android and iOS, with a sample body of work (released applications). Background in Networking (TCP / IP) on LINUX, Android, and / or Apple Platforms (iOS / MAC). Hands-on experience with in internal architecture of the Android (2.3.x, 3.x, 4.x) and iOS (up to iOS5). Experience with both WWAN modems (3G HSPA and LTE), and WLAN / Ethernet Network Adapters. Ability to work individually and within a small agile team (Scrum experience a plus). * * * *Minimum Requirements* *· Experienced in iOS Application Development (xCode, Objective C, App Store Certification, etc.), including end-user applications and / or mobile application libraries.* *o Including: iOS internal experience and private API knowledge, specifically TCP/IP Networking, Telephony, and WLAN.* *· Experienced in Android Application (SDK) and Native Programming (NDK), including end-user applications and / or mobile application libraries.* *o Including: Android / LINUX system experience, specifically TCP/IP Networking, Telephony, and WLAN.* *· Detailed Networking protocol experience: TCP / IP, multi-homing transport protocols, DCHP, DNS, HTTP, HTTP Video, etc.* *o Embedded network programming experience, a plus.* *· LINUX Kernal (or other) experience, a plus.* *· Experienced with XML, JSON, JavaScript, and Web-Services (SOAP, REST).* *· Excellent software design and programming skills in C, C++, Java, Objective C, etc. * *· Experienced with scripting languages (Perl, Python, etc.).* *· Familiar with design / architecture patterns, software best practices and development methodologies.* *· Excellent communication skills.
