The Ohio Department of Health is undertaking an application development
project to build a single portal through which all electronic health
information coming in and out of ODH will be exchanged.
The Ohio Department of Health is undertaking an application development
project to build a single portal through which all electronic health
information coming in and out of ODH will be exchanged. This will include
the enhancement of the Dashboard which reports status of incoming and
outgoing messages, new infrastructure to support messaging with Ohio’s
Health Information Exchanges (HIEs)s, new service interfaces to facilitate
bi-direction exchange between ODH and various Electronic Medical
Record(EMR) software packages and a data quality improvement imitative to
address known data quality issues.
This position will be responsible for collecting and documenting both
business and functional requirements for each of the areas identified
above. In addition this position will create system and business process
workflows, screen mock-ups and application prototypes.
