Hi How can I initialize the shell run by init? In inittab, I have the following line:
::askfirst:/bin/sh I would like that shell to already have LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable set to something appropriate. I can't seem to figure out how to do that. I tried a .profile and a .ashrc in / and /root and that did not seem to work.
