Agreed.  It was for find|xargs pretty much alone, and there it
works wonderfully well.  Shell quoting, in the early days, was
perhaps not so 100% foolproof as a utility to clean up directories
might need.  The NUL-delimiter eliminated the need to consider
all that crap, in that context.  Fast, too.
