Your caterpillar8 photograph is not clear but let me hazard a guess:
Noctuidae, Catocalinae (s.l.) probably in the genus Bastilla or Dysgonia, or
(at longer odds) Thyas or Ophiusa. I have seen this caterpillar in SGNP,
Mumbai and someone else has reported it from another State in India.
