you will not find any population data on indian butterflies anywhere.
what we are collecting right now will be the baseline for comparisons
in the future. i have not published my data on karnataka butterflies
but it will happen some day.

Since I have been to most of the natural habitats in Karnataka for
the last 10 years, I just want to see whether there is any increase
or reduction in any of the butterfly species not just in Western
Ghats but also Scrub, Deciduous, Plains, etc.
The idea is simple, if there are species that needs some special
attention, then I want to do something for them.
I have all the papers of Torben sir and am personally in touch with him.
Will ask him if there are more reports that he did not publish.
