Based on your input I tried to find more information.
Sataspes infernalis seems to be the closest match as per the limited 
information 
on the internet. The images on the link below also seem to be the closest. Of 
course, the id remains Sataspes spp. (infernalis ?).

I am thankful to all who responded. Its a real pit that Indian Moths don't have 
even a single decent book on the topic.
