Dear Yashodan,You need not worry about the pale looking Hawkmoth caterpillar. It is about to pupate. It is no longer hungry. Just keep in a large jar with some loose soil and dry leaves. and a branch slanting on the jar's inside. Cover the jar with a cotton kerchief with rubber band. Watch for the moth to emerge (usually after two weeks) When the moth is out release it in the evening after photographing.
