Dear Kishen
This is all our lan records.
July was full of Lime butterflies. more than 30 individuals were seen feeding
on flowers of Peacock Plant.
Than came Common Rose ate all my aristolochia and suddenly disappered. Now i
CAN SEE more than twenty pupae hanging in the garden.
At present it is Common crow breeding on Karonda fruit shrub.
Common and Lemon emigrant are breeding in the garden but their eggs are eaten
by ants and so the young caterpillars. Spiders are other predators.
We still dont know why all of sudden they comes and disappeare.
Thanks

Thank you.
Please keep me informed whenever you observe mass movements/roosting of Euploea
spp. and Tirumala spp. in Kerala.
This is critical to know their complete natural history.

Same request goes to others in this group as well.

In Maharashtra, you can actually observe the migration of Striped Tigers as
well.

So, please keep an eye on Emigrants, Lime butterflies, Tigers, Crows, and
Albatrosses.
Mail me or to the group if you see them in mass or observe anything
interesting.

I am maintaining the record of these sightings and this will be shared with the
group twice a year.

Thanks again,
Kishen
