Yes Kishan Please add the name of Sri Judhajit Dasgupta. His book entitled "Paschimbanger Projapati" published by Ananda Publisher, is one of the best available books on butterflies, in India. He is one of the best naturalist I have ever seen. Before me, rudra, garg ji, have started serious work on butterflies of west bengal, he is the only man, who has spent significant time for butterflies since mid 80's to till now. He is definitely a person to be mentioned in that list of serious butterfly workers!!
Also you can note a name Mr Ujjal Ghosh IFS He belongs to the rare group of IFS officers, who spent more time in field, than in office. He is also an avid naturalist, a wonderful photographer and a true butterfly lover. He, with his post, and the benefit of being a forest officer, is documenting the diversity of butterflies of west bengal in a very sincere manner. Thank you Mr Garg, for mentionig Judhajit da's name. and thanks Kishan for your initiave. It will definitely help the group in many aspect as well as it will help us to build individual net work. email id of Judhajit Dasgupta: [email protected] Regards Arjan On Mon, Sep 27, 2010 at 9:23 PM, MFaisal <[email protected]>wrote: > > > Dear Shri Das > I would like to inform you that I have worked on butterflies of Thar Desert > and the reference of published paper is given here.
